Miss Pajaree Angkinantana (Cookie) – Creative Designer
“My main responsibility is to create and design images from products for potential clients. As well I am currently in charge of ‘The Style project’ by Toyota at Siam Square, Bangkok, which is designing and creating the display, poster, decoration and some ads, based on a concept given by Toyota headquarters, Japan.
“I finished my Design Innovation MA (formerly: Design and Manufacture programme) in 2003/04. I had a fantastic time whilst studying at De Montfort University. It was my first time studying abroad in a country where I knew no one and at that time there were no other Thai students studying there.
"However my course leader Dr Robert Chen and all the supervisors Nick, Tina, Sara and Lisa were so friendly and helpful. They helped ease my difficult time making me feel much more comfortable. I also met many people from around the world (from 19 different countries) and all with different backgrounds. With this connection and help from De Montfort University, I was able to settle down to a new environment and society.
“I was able to get a job working for an international company in Thailand designing for Toyota Motor Group, as a creative designer. My English and other skills have improved greatly during and after this study; I would like to sincerely thank all the staff and professors at De Montfort University for their kind support, and for creating professional skills, knowledge and friendly atmosphere during my study in the UK.”
