About Glasgow International College
Glasgow International College (GIC) provides world-class academic programmes to prepare international students for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Glasgow.
Our high-quality pathway programmes, designed specifically for your needs as an international student, lead directly to guaranteed admission into the University of Glasgow as long as you reach the required level. Each programme lasts for two or three terms (a higher IELTS score means a shorter programme) and can be started in September, January or May.

GIC programmes leading to undergraduate degrees at the University of Glasgow
We offer the following Foundation Certificate programmes:
- Foundation Certificate in Business
- Foundation Certificate in Social Sciences
- Foundation Certificate in Science
- Foundation Certificate in Engineering
On successful completion of the Foundation programme, you are guaranteed admission to either the Glasgow International College Diploma in Business or Engineering, or the second year of undergraduate study at the University of Glasgow. However, you must reach the required level stated in your offer letter.

We offer the following Pre-Masters programmes:
- Pre-Masters for Business, Social Sciences and Law
- Pre-Masters for Science and Engineering
On successful completion of the Pre-Master’s programme, you are guaranteed admission to a postgraduate degree at the University of Glasgow – provided you have reached the required level.
